DO YOU REALLY KNOW HIM?
“…But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32).
Like a proud parent, our heavenly Father loves it when we carry out impossible things by His power, for His glory. When we live in raw reliance upon His power, He delights in us and proves He is what we take Him for, what we know Him and believe Him to be.
Daniel, the three Hebrews and more of their types who ‘dared the devil’ and chose to put God over and above the daunting situations that confronted them didn’t regret doing so. If you adopt this principle, you’ll not regret it either. “…if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40).
May God strengthen our faith to the point of living in raw reliance of His power. Amen. God bless you SHALOM.
