DAY 37 OF 2024 40 DAYS P&F/LENTEN PROGRAM.

Topic: The spirit of prince of Persia is rendered powerless concerning our prayers.
Texts: Daniel 10:12-13.

EXPOSITION:

It is one thing to heed the call to pray without ceasing, it is another for the fervent prayers prayed not to be hindered. The God to whom we pray is faithful to make His promise real by answering our prayers. His word in Jer. 33:3 attests to this, where He said, “Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and might things, which you do not know.”

Non-manifestation of answers to prayers may not be due to any sin that have been committed; as a matter of fact, God might have expressly acceded to the prayers prayed to Him, but forces of evil, like the prince of Persia we are praying against today, may be the ones causing delay, putting a hindrance, withholding the answers with the intent of discrediting God, causing us to label Him as God who is not faithful to His promise to answer when we pray unto Him. The devices of these evil forces will fail concerning us and our prayers in the name of Jesus. Amen.

That is how it happened concerning Daniel; he had prayed, expecting favourable answer, but the prince Persia – a demonic power in Satan’s army assigned to operate in that locality, blocked the answer that had already been granted. Let’s hear as it’s written in Daniel 10:12-13 – “Then He said to me, do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of Persia of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days…” As we would pray today, Anything, anyone with the spirit of the prince of Persia assigned to withhold answers to the prayers we have prayed this season will be rendered powerless and put to public spectacle in the name of Jesus.

Thank God for Jesus through whom we have victory over the likes of the prince of Persia. This victory shall continue to avail for us. In Col. 2:15-17 we read about how Jesus won this victory for us – “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” As written in James 5:16, as the righteous of God through Jesus Christ, the effective, fervent prayers we have prayed this season, shall avail much for us; favourable and speedy answers, leading to great testimonies shall crown our efforts in the name of Jesus. Amen and amen. God bless you. SHALOM.
