TODAY’S DIVINE STIMULANT

Topic: ‘Where HE guides, He provides.’

Text: “The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail” (Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭11‬).

EXPOSITION:

All glory, honour and adoration to God Most high who in His infinite mercy has guided and led us under His caring arms into this penultimate month of the year.

No doubt we have come through thick and thin, through rough and tough terrains, through worries, uncertainties and despair. In the face of all these however, God’s faithfulness, His enabling and sustaining grace availed for us and prevailed against the contrary.

As we step into this unknown zone today, the divine stimulant to stand on is as written in today’s focal scripture, a blessed assurance that to wherever God’s leads His own, He guides and guards them and provides for their needs, the prevailing circumstances in that place notwithstanding. God led and guided the children of Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness and guided and provided for them adequately there.

He hasn’t led us into this month to abandon us hence, let’s be rest assured that He will provide for, and satisfy our souls with all good things, ensuring that nothing good is withheld from us; He shall make us be like a tree planted by the stream of waters whose leave is ever green and never withers, bearing its fruits in due season. These and more will God make happen to us regardless of what the global economic climate may be indicating or dictating.

In Psalm 34:10 it is written: “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” If some nay sayers, scoffers would be sceptical about this, let’s not be part of it. Like Jesus said at Lazarus death, “If you would believe you would see the the glory of the Lord.” (John 11:40). It is well with you, with me and our loved ones in the same of Jesus. Amen and Amen.

Happy new month to you and all yours. God bless you. SHALOM.
