Topic: Make a joyful noise to the LORD in anticipation of open heavens during this program.
Text: Psalm 100:1-2.
EXPOSITION:
A joyful noise, as we are being asked to make to the LORD today, is a joyful noise of praise; a joyful noise that is sweet, soothing, and delightful to hear. It’s unlike an empty noise that’s purposeless and irritating.
Today we are making a joyful, purposeful noise to the LORD for the anticipated glorious aftermath of this prayer journey.
When a joyful noise is made to the LORD even before the manifestation of an expected breakthrough or victory, heaven rejoices, and God on His throne is delighted. And anyone that God delights in should count himself/herself blessed amongst his/her peers.
This is what is expressed in Psalm 67:5, when people make a joyful noise of praise to God, the earth will yield her increase; things will begin to turn around for good; chains and yokes will break and be destroyed; ways will open where there’s none; doors of opportunities will begin to open, great feats that will cause people to hold God in awe will happen without much ado. Hallelujah!
I pray these and more mind-blowing things will today’s joyful noise to the LORD cause to happen to us this season and subsequently in the name of Jesus. Amen. God bless you SHALOM.
